Born in the North of Ireland, Rick's professional career began playing with numerous groups on the Irish scene before appearing at high-profile events such as Cork International Jazz Festival, Derry Jazz & Big Band Festival & Made in New York Jazz Festival alongside musicians such as Mike Stern, Alex Blake, Wayne Escoffery amongst others.
